GoPromotional Scholarship Program

As a world-class distributor of promotional products, GoPromotional seeks to support the next generation of marketing leaders and business innovators through a college scholarship contest. We’re looking for students who demonstrate creativity, a passion for marketing, and a commitment to excellence in business–the same principles that have guided GoPromotional since 2008.

Apply for the GoPromotional Scholarship and contend for an opportunity to win up to $1,000 toward your undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or equally-relevant fields!

Three prizes will be awarded: 1st place: $1,000, 2nd place: $750, and 3rd place: $500.

  • Deadline: Applications must be submitted by August 30, 2023 for consideration.
  • Decision: Winners will be chosen by October 30, 2023
  • Disbursement: Scholarship funds will be sent to the winners’ school on their behalf prior to the start of the Spring 2024 semester

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in (or accepted into) a full-time undergraduate business program at an accredited UK or USA University.
  • Applicants must be legal UK or USA residents aged 18 or older at the time of application.
  • Our scholarship contest is not open to anyone employed in, or whose immediate family is employed in, the promotional products industry in any capacity. This includes (but is not limited to) suppliers, distributors, and organizations that primarily service the promotional products industry.

Complete our online form. You will be required to provide the following:

  • Name
  • Mailing Address
  • College or University Name
  • College or University Address
  • Proof of Enrollment, which can include current transcripts, acceptance letters, or tuition bills. If you are still applying to schools, you may submit a list of the schools you’re applying to. In case you win the scholarship, full proof of enrollment will be required prior to the disbursement of the scholarship funds. (upload as .jpg, .pdf, or.doc)
  • 500-1000 Word Essay (upload as .doc or .pdf)
  • Photo of yourself (upload as a .jpg, .pdf, or .doc) We post pictures of our winner and winning essay to our website.
  • Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Selection Criteria:

  • Eligible students must write an essay (maximum 1000 words) answering the question: How can the principles of promotional marketing best be used to supplement and enhance the results of mainstream advertising?
  • Within their essay response, successful applicants will suggest a range of creative, engaging, and insightful ways in which promotional merchandise and related marketing initiatives can enhance a business’ returns on advertising expenditure.
  • Applicants will be reviewed in accordance with the above eligibility requirements.
