Description:

The Electronic Resources Librarian will manage the full lifecycle of electronic resources including journals, journal packages and databases, with a particular focus on individually purchased eBooks and eBook packages. This is a new position, sitting within the Smith College Libraries Collection and Discovery Services team and reporting to the Electronic Resources & Discovery Librarian.  The individual in this position will work collaboratively with colleagues across departments on ongoing work and discrete projects to ensure the libraries’ online resources are accessible to the campus community, and will engage with eResource colleagues across the Five College Consortium around shared work and priorities. They will engage a framework of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in the approach to daily and long-term work, and in interactions with colleagues and library users.  A hybrid remote/on-site work schedule is available for this position. 

Salary:

Smith seeks to pay competitively and equitably based on factors such as the position and individual qualifications.  While actual pay will vary based on these factors, the estimated salary range for this position is $55K – $70K.
