Description:

The Archdiocese of Boston is seeking one temporary project archivist to process a small record collection
of the Association of Catholic Diocesan Archivists (ACDA), a professional organization for which the archdiocesan archive serves as the official repository.
The collection consists of both paper-based and electronic records and includes materials related to the
organization’s founding, conferences, committees, and past and present officers. The incumbent will be
asked to assess the records to determine their historic and/or organizational value with the assistance of
the ACDA retention schedule, arrange and describe the contents, and produce a collection guide.
This is a paid internship up to 70 hours of work and scheduling is flexible. While some processing or
records management experience is preferred, we welcome students pursuing an MLIS or equivalent to
apply.
