Youth Services Librarian (Full-Time), Holbrook Public Library, MA

Description:

The Holbrook Public Library is looking for a full-time 32-hour per week Youth Services Librarian to work in our small library with a new and passionate staff with big ideas. This is a recently restructured position in which we are hoping to expand programs and services to children, their families, and teens.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have interest and experience developing programs and collections for kids and teens ages 0-18.
  • You have interest and knowledge of the current trends of youth-focused technology and applications.

Qualifications

This role will be filled by a librarian with an MLS or an individual with a combination of education and relevant experience in public-facing roles working with children and families.  Those in progress to earn their degree are welcome to apply.

The schedule is flexible with some remote work allowed.  Must work at least one evening and every other Saturday.  This is a level 4 Union position with a starting salary of $50,112/year and includes a generous benefits package.

Step 1 for Level 4 is $30.00 an hour – step increases and yearly increases are in the CBA
