The Holbrook Public Library is looking for a 24 hours per week Programming and Marketing Assistant to work in our small library with a new and passionate staff with big ideas. This is a recently added position in which we are hoping to expand programs and services to children, their families, teens, and adults.

This job might be for you if:

You have interest and experience developing programs for kids, teens, and adults!
You have interest and knowledge in Marketing – including social media, press releases, newsletters, fliers, and being creative on how we can get our info out to the public.
Your public service is rooted in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Community.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree preferred: High school diploma or equivalent required, with 1-3 years library experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The schedule is flexible. Must work at least one evening and every other Saturday. This is a level 2 Union position with a starting salary of $19.25 per hour and includes a generous benefits package.

Step 1 for Level 2 is $19.25 an hour – step increases and yearly increases are in the CBA
