Description:

Marist College is seeking a Digital Technologies Librarian to implement, maintain, and evaluate tools, systems and online resources for all Library areas using emerging web technologies and best practices. They will help evaluate and implement systems and services that bring library resources to the Marist Community as well as develop, deploy and maintain library and archives web sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters Degree in either Library/Information Science or Computer/Information Systems. 1-3 years related experience. Experience with web applications.

Essential Functions:

Implement, Maintain, and evaluate tools, systems, and online resources for all Library areas using emerging web technologies and best practices
Develop, deploy, and maintain the Library’s web presence and other web sites and services as assigned
Act as the primary liaison between the Library and Information Technologies
Troubleshoot third-party software issues
Develop APIs to facilitate communication between systems
Evaluate and deploy software for use in the Library
