Job Title:  K-5 Schools Resource Librarian

Date Available:  August 2022

Description: Scarborough Public Schools is seeking a student-centered, organized and flexible, collaborative school resource librarian to join our dedicated and professional team. The K-5 Librarian spends time at each of the three K-2 schools as well as Wentworth School with grades 3-5 students to oversee the Learning Commons resources, programs and support staff for both phases.

Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in library-media/information services or a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology or the equivalent preferred
2. Experience working with groups in educational settings
3. Experience with multi-information technologies
4. Knowledge of curriculum development and integration
5. Educational Specialist Certificate (K-12) – 071 Library/Media Specialist
