KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the indexer queues and ensure content is assigned to the appropriate individual and that content is completed in a timely fashion
  • Perform quality checks on the content that is indexed to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Make recommendations based on quality control checks and work with the larger team to refine workflows and processes as needed.
  • Index Course Handbook chapters
  • Create documentation and training guides as needed
  • Collaborate with the taxonomy team to maintain the machine-aided indexing rule-set and
  • Assist the taxonomist on updating the taxonomy and provide reports as needed
  • Support taxonomy maintenance as needed
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks in the taxonomy systems and report issues if they arise
  • Oversee the creation of PLI’s catalog records and coordinate with our 3rd party vendor
  • Special projects, as they come up.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines as established by supervisor.
  • Perform other related tasks as requested by supervisor. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced Academic Credentials required, MLS preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Familiarity of publication classification systems is a plus
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills

This opportunity is based in New York City. The salary range for this opportunity is $45,000 – $52,000.
