Head of Reference and Information Services – Division Head overseeing Reference and Information Services Division of busy, progressive public library.

Qualifications – ALA-accredited MLS degree; 3 – 5 years administrative-level public library experience. Provides Reference customer service in person, on phone, via email and social media; experience with Reference sources, electronic databases, web applications, social media platforms and Internet resources. Planning, collection development, Adult Programming, supervision (ILL, Serials, Local History) and management team responsibility.

Duties – 37.5 HPW including one evening per week desk coverage plus Saturday and Sunday rotations: Saturdays (one in four), some Sundays January – April only (at time and one-half rate).

Salary Range – Depending on experience, $61,926 – $84,874. AA/EEO.
