Library Assistant Sub
Department: Circulation
Rate: $18.1250/hr. (Time and a half for Sundays)
Hours: as needed
Starting Date: Position open until filled

Library Assistant:
Shifts available as needed to assist the public with circulation, holds, and curbside pick-up services. Public service may be in person or by telephone.

Candidates must be able to adapt smoothly to patron demands and should enjoy interacting with people of all ages. Four-year college degree required, experience working in a public library preferred.

Acting Department Head Sub
Department: All
Rate: $32.7832/hr. (Time and a half for Sundays)
Hours: as needed
Starting Date: Position open until filled

Acting Department Head:
Shifts available as needed to oversee all staff on duty and be responsible for the building. Will also cover a service desk: circulation/children’s/reference, and assist the public as appropriate. Public service may be in person, or by telephone, email or chat.

Candidates must be able to adapt smoothly to patron demands and should enjoy interacting with people of all ages. Masters of Library Science and experience working in a public library required.

Rate: $18.5782/hr. (Time and a half for Sundays)
Hours: as needed
Starting Date: Position open until filled

Library Specialist:
Shifts available as needed to assist the public with reader’s advisory and children’s/reference questions. Public service may be in person, or by telephone, email and chat.

Candidates must be able to adapt smoothly to patron demands and should enjoy interacting with people of all ages. MLS or MLS candidate required, and experience in a public library preferred.
