The Sawyer Free Library is accepting applications for a full time Digital Access Librarian/ Library IT Business Analyst. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about designing, planning and implementing spaces, technological infrastructure and digital experiences that support public digital content consumption, creation and learning.
Primary duties of the Digital Access Librarian and Library IT Business Analyst include, but are not limited to:
- Performing technical administration of library IT systems
- Managing technology inventory, including evaluating new hardware and applications to meet Library goals and user needs
- Installing, configuring and maintaining software on a variety of consumer devices and platforms
- Developing, planning, implementing and promoting instructional programs that support digital content consumption, creation and learning
- Cultivating partnerships with community agencies
Ability and enthusiasm for adapting to new technologies and services is a must. Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, productivity and digital content creation software, Integrated Library System applications, web-based programs and A/V systems is essential. Outstanding candidates will possess exceptional customer service skills.

Salary is dependent on experience with a starting rate of $30.36, 35 hours per week. The position qualifies for the City’s benefits, including health, dental and life insurance, paid vacation, sick and holiday leave. This position also qualifies for the Town’s pension plan.
