Description:

Provide innovative leadership and management of the Resource Sharing unit within Access & Public Services including oversight of all interlibrary loan, stacks maintenance, deliveries, and materials movement for general collections at the Smith College Libraries. Supervise staff and services in order for operations to run efficiently and accurately.

Collaborate across the Smith libraries in particular with Acquisitions, Course Reserves and the librarians in Teaching, Learning and Research. Maintain borrowing and lending relationships with libraries worldwide. Maintain accessible, welcoming and organized book stacks. Oversee technology in order to enable Smith users to gain seamless access to resources beyond the local Smith collections. Manage user access to general collections and interlibrary loan and troubleshooting of related technology.

Smith seeks to pay competitively taking into consideration qualifications. In general, this role pays $55K-63K though actual pay may vary based on individual qualifications.
