Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Collections & Library Services, the Collections Assistant supports digital collections within Library & Knowledge Services at the Harvard Kennedy School, including identifying HKS faculty publications from 2021, entering publication data into a library database, and coordinating with faculty assistants.
This is a part-time position at 10 hours/week for 4 weeks, with the possibility of an extension, to work remotely for the Harvard Kennedy School Library & Knowledge Services.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing faculty CVs to identify 2021 publications
- Searching Google Scholar to identify 2021 publications by HKS faculty authors
- Entering publications into publications database
- Liaising with faculty assistants to verify publications and facilitate necessary signatures
Qualifications:
- Experience with data entry or similar detail-oriented projects
- Proficient in Excel and research databases
- Familiarity with Google Scholar and Zotero.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current enrollment or completion in an ALA-accredited graduate level library program and/or relevant work experience.
