Description:

The Hartland Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, community minded person with technical services skills, interlibrary loan experience, and excellent communication skills for the position of Circulation & Technical Services Librarian. The Hartland Library is located in the Upper Valley of Vermont in the town of Hartland. 

Under the supervision of the library director, this position supports the overall mission of the library by effectively providing library services to customers and the community. This position is responsible for cataloging books and materials for circulation, providing interlibrary loan services for our library users, and supervising and assisting at the circulation desk.

 A strong customer service philosophy is essential. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and library experience is required. This is a full time 30 hour position with benefits, including paid vacation, sick, and personal leave, and health insurance. The work week is Tuesday – Friday and one Saturday per month. Wage range $17.75 – $19.00 an hour.
