Adams National Historical Park, Quincy,MA has a job opening for a seasonal (6 months) GS-5 Museum Technician position in Quincy, MA. The job will have a focus on archives and records processing. It also assisting with the preservation and protection of five historic exhibit areas. Duties include preservation housekeeping, handling museum collections including but not limited to historic books and decorative arts; processing photographs and park management records and assisting with annual inventory. They may perform a variety of clerical operations in support of the museum operation. Museum staff ensures building and object security, including proper handling of objects according to NPS procedures.
