Circulation Assistant Receptionist

Sno-Isle Libraries is accepting applications for the Page position through January 31, 2022 at this time, with interviews to take place in February.

A candidate who successfully completes the interviewing process will receive an email notification and be placed in a hiring pool as a retained candidate and remain there until a Page position becomes available. It typically takes at least 3-4 months for a retained candidate to be placed, and can take longer depending on staffing needs at the locations a candidate is interested in working at.

The Page performs sorting, shelving, locating, materials movement, and library support tasks at a community library to contribute to its effective operation, providing library services, spaces, and resources that are representative of diverse cultures and perspectives, intentionally inclusive, and accessible to everyone.

This position works a 15-hour per week schedule and may include morning, afternoon, evening and weekend hours including Sundays, with specific scheduling practices varying by location and depending on operational needs. Successful candidate may be required to adapt to future schedule and location changes depending on the library needs.


Marketing and Communications Manager

Sno-Isle Libraries seeks a highly motivated, relationship-oriented, community builder to lead the Mariner Community Campus Project though the next phases of work, up to ground breaking and construction. This position is expected to be temporary and last for the duration of the project, which is anticipated to take five years.


IT Cloud Systems Administrator

This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating new cloud implementations to ensure they integrate properly with existing platforms and systems. Analyze current technologies, tools, and processes in use by the unit to propose cloud conversion, improvements, changes, or optimizations that result in a cost and process-efficient operation.   Provide support to the Information Technology team while troubleshooting situations or breakdowns that could arise. Conduct proofs of concepts to test prospective cloud solutions. Assist IT Managers in monitoring special cloud projects, ensuring their execution is on time and within budget.
