The Ransom Center seeks a Fellowship Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Fellowship and Instructional Services by coordinating the daily and logistical operations of the Center’s growing research fellowship program, which annually selects and hosts more than sixty national and international researchers. In collaboration with other Ransom Center and UT departments, as well as selected faculty, coordinates activities including managing and administering budget and payments, application review of fellows, promotion of the program to diverse audiences, and support for the fellowship community.

Responsibilities: Work creatively, collaboratively, and efficiently to coordinate all the details of more than sixty fellows’ visits annually; facilitate an inclusive annual recruitment and application review process to build and support a diverse cohort of fellows; represent the Ransom Center to the fellows; cultivate relationships between fellows and local, national, and international audiences by fostering an inclusive and dynamic research community; coordinate budgets for fellowship program; serve as a member of the public services staff.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience (including internships) coordinating operations, activities, and outputs in a university, library, museum, community organization, or similar setting; detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently; outstanding team orientation, flexibility, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively; demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and culturally-competent communication. Ability to communicate effectively with global audiences. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred qualifications: More than three years of experience (including internships) coordinating operations, activities, and outputs in a university, library, museum, community organization, or similar setting; Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, the Humanities, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience; previous experience coordinating budgets and recording program expenditures; demonstrated interest in and knowledge of archival, library, or museum work, through research, coursework, or work experience.
Salary: $47,500
