The Claire T. Carney Library at UMass Dartmouth seeks a service-oriented librarian with web design experience to develop and enhance its library user interfaces. This Web Services Librarian will be part of a creative and forward-looking team committed to improving online user experience. Under the direction of the Division Head for Library Systems & Digital Services, this librarian will redesign and develop the Claire T. Carney library’s websites. This includes work with systems such as Drupal, T4, WordPress, and Springshare’s LibGuides. The librarian will lead the library’s usability efforts and will adapt new and existing web tools to enhance the library’s online interfaces. The Web Services Librarian will be responsible for creating documentation, soliciting input from library colleagues, and collaborating with other campus web developers.

Work type: Staff Full Time

Minimum Starting Salary:  Assistant Librarian $66,768; Associate Librarian $78,191
