Talent Acquisition Research Consultant, Allstate, (Remote Position)

Description:
Proactively gather, synthesize, and consult on information and data associated with talent market opportunities. This role requires the capability to independently execute research requests and develop output that demonstrates a mastery of research. The Research Sr. Consultant will also serve as a subject matter expert in designing and implementing strategies to create high-impact labor market analysis by leveraging free and fee-based resources, proprietary databases, and social media tools. This role will assist in developing and broadening the knowledge base of the National Agency and Producer Recruiting Team within Talent Acquisition department.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and synthesizes labor market and industry data to drive talent-related business decisions
- Co-leads the execution of complex labor market and competitive intelligence projects in partnership with a brand or research lead
- Tracks and manages effectiveness of research tools and partner with measurement team to ensure we are achieving ROI
- Serves as the subject matter expert on research best practices, and consults and trains on databases and research tools that will advance recruiting outcomes
- Develops and conducts training required to support the team’s greatest opportunity for learning and development in research
- Assesses project requests and deliverables, prioritizes work accordingly, and sets clear expectations on timeframe with clients
- Collaborates with peers and broader team to anticipate business needs and adjust research strategies on a regular basis
- Develops and manages library of functional research resource guides
- Supports clients at various reporting levels from Directors to Sourcers
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in library and information science a plus
- 3 – 5 years of experience in an information specialist, research associate, analyst or market research role in an applicable industry required
Functional Skills:
- Strong research skills and basic business knowledge
- Ability to synthesize information quickly and provide recommendations
- Uses experience, innovation, and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information
- Experience in co leading projects and/or cross functional teams
- Strong understanding of sourcing and research trends and tools
- Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, great follow-up skills and capable of multi-tasking effectively
- Ability to develop & deliver effective presentations and communicate with clients at all levels across enterprise
- Resourceful, critical and strategic thinker, and creative problem solver: ability to quickly and effectively get things done while managing unanticipated roadblocks
- Experience with internet research through free and fee-based resources
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite required
Compensation:
Compensation range for this position is $60,000 – $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
