The Bishop Library at Lebanon Valley College is seeking a full-time head of collections and technical services. The head of collections and technical services provides leadership and management for all activities associated with systems, acquisitions, cataloging, serials management, and interlibrary loan. This position also contributes to the library’s reference and instruction program and works closely with faculty, staff, students, and the public. Qualifications include a master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as cross-cultural competencies to maximize effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment is required, as well as a strong service orientation, and a demonstrated commitment to participating in and building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community.
