The Town of Eastham seeks qualified candidates for this full-time Librarian position. Responsible for providing professional and direct services to the public including traditional circulation services, user instruction & program implementation. Responsible for planning, managing, and implementing programs, events, and services for the Eastham Public Library. This position has the flexibility to provide for a traditional Reference, Outreach or Access Librarian roles.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of library experience required, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; Master of Library Science degree preferred; knowledge of library policies and procedures including automated integrated library systems, library databases and applications, and information technology; background in literature. Salary range is $27.11 – $33.86 per hour, based on experience.
