The Northeastern University Library seeks enthusiastic, innovative, and customer service-oriented individuals who are committed to helping users access the university library’s broad array of physical and digital resources and services, especially during evening and weekend hours. The facility is open 24/7 and welcomes 9,000+ users any given weekday. The Information Delivery and Access Services (IDEAS) Evening Coordinator staffs and supervises the Library’s Help & Information Desk and the Access Point during evenings and weekends and works with departmental colleagues to provide excellent in-person and virtual customer service that centers EDI and accessibility. They will contribute to the circulation functions, library access and privileges, course reserves, resource sharing, and collections maintenance operations of the IDEAS department.
Hours for this position are Tuesday – Thursday 2pm – 10pm; Friday & Saturday 1pm – 9pm. Possibility for some remote work. (Hours may change based on service hours and holidays).
