Library Services Technician (part-time) – UNH Franklin Pierce Law Library – Concord, NH

Description:

Receiving and processing library’s serials, standing orders, and firm-ordered materials entering the Law Library’s collection, as well as projects relating to ordering and payments. May include other related projects as required and may grow in complexity and range of responsibility with on-the-job experience. The position reports directly to the Law Library’s Head of Collection Management.

Required Qualifications:

•             Associates Degree and 1 year of experience related to the standard duties as outlined above.

•             Post-secondary education and experience may substitute for each other.

Preferred Qualifications:

•             Detail-oriented, some work with accounts payable or receivable would be helpful.

•             Relevant Bookkeeping/accounts experience desirable. 

•             Ability to perform detailed work accurately and efficiently.

•             Strong organizational skills. 

•             Ability to take initiative, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

•             Familiarity with office software including Word, Excel, and Access.

•             Familiarity with acquisition functions of an automated library system.

•             Ability to work independently and as a team member.

•             Strong work ethic. 

•             Willingness to learn new tasks.
