MLS Student or recent graduate Volunteer Needed for Help in Planning and Executing the NHLTA’s (New Hampshire Library Trustees Association) https://www.nhlta.org 2022 Annual State Conference. Under the direction of the conference co-Chairs, duties include: brainstorming and researching topics and speakers, help in securing speakers, research and working with conference sponsors, activities related to planning for an on-site conference (historically attendance @ 300)
Role requires, strong research, organizational and documentation skills, ability to advocate for the conference with potential speakers and sponsors. Great opportunity to network, see library issues from the trustee perspective, and add to your resume.
2-3 Hours per week: will vary week to week; more as conference gets closer.
Stipend offered: $1,500.
