Wilbraham & Monson Academy is seeking a Full-Time Library Assistant. This position participates fully in the functioning of the Athenaeum by making sure materials are properly organized and accessible. The Library Assistant is the first point of contact for members of the WMA community to provide resources and guidance for use of the facility and provide stellar customer service.

Highlights of What You Will Do:
- Process new and donated library materials.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for materials and resources in various formats using professional resources, judgement, and internal collection policies.
- Check in, check out and renew borrowed materials using the library systems.
- Assists with weeding, shifting and shelving to clean and organize the library space.
- Administrative duties including but not limited to, retrieving the mail, newspapers, periodicals, answering incoming calls, create form letters and memos, schedule classes, reconcile receipts, facilitate and track interlibrary loans, track new purchases and other duties as assigned.
- Instruct classes in MAL, computer technology, library usage as needed.
- Assist students with locating in-print and on-line research materials within our library as well as using CW/Mars and WorldCat.
- Set expectations and manage student behavior.
