Sacred Heart University Library seeks an innovative and collaborative librarian for Discovery Services and Metadata. You will provide direction, vision, and expertise to enhance the discoverability of library collections, the quality and application of metadata, and contribute to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the library’s resources through discovery and metadata projects.

You will work with campus IT, and library colleagues both at SHU and elsewhere to configure services following international norms and standards for the benefit of the University’s teachers and students. As a member of the Library, you will also have opportunities to participate in reference services, information literacy instruction, and budget supervision. In this 12-month, full-time position, you will share in an environment that supports and encourages librarianship, scholarship, and service.
