Tisch Library is seeking to hire 2 graduate students as Graduate Virtual Reference Assistant (remote) for fall. 

About the position:

Via an online chat platform, over email, and through Zoom, answer questions about Tisch Library services and collections, helping with basic library research skills, referring more-in-depth questions to the appropriate liaison librarian for additional follow-up. Training provided. 

Required skills and experience: currently enrolled graduate student at Tufts; significant experience conducting library research; basic familiarity with Tisch Library collections; excellent communication skills.  

Preferred skills and experience: customer service experience; experience in teaching, training, and/or public speaking; enrolled in a doctoral program 

Available shifts are Monday-Thursday 5pm-9pm EST, Saturday 12pm-5pm EST, Sunday 12-5pm EST, Sunday 5-9pm EST 

Fully remote position for the fall 2021 semester; $17.25-18/hour
