Description:
Geisel Library at Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, seeks multiple part-time Circulation Desk Supervisors to join their team. Normal evening shifts are available as noted below for the upcoming fall and spring academic terms, with the exception that shifts may extend to 2am during end-of-semester exam weeks.
Sundays 6p to midnight
Tuesdays 4p to midnight
Wednesdays 4p to midnight
Fridays 4p to 11p
Job duties
This position is responsible for supervising all Circulation Desk operations during assigned hours. The position performs a variety of duties including assisting library users (students, faculty, staff, guests) & checking-out library materials, supervising student workers, maintaining database records, completing daily shift reports, and closing/securing the library for the night. Additional hours may be possible.

- Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong office and computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Flexibility to assist in occasional coverage of other shifts
Required Experience
Associate’s degree or 2 years of college plus 1 – 2 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Library Circulation Desk experience
• Experience working with automated library computer systems, preferably Innovative Interfaces
