Description: Scarborough Middle School is seeking a Librarian/Media Specialist with outstanding credentials who thrives working in a collaborative professional atmosphere. In addition to leading a very busy Learning Commons, this Educational Specialist will teach a digital literacy course to middle school students. We are looking for someone with experience managing and developing a Learning Commons, as well as having strong skills with the use of a variety of multimedia tools. Additionally, this person should have experience with differentiated instruction, the ability to facilitate group work, and experience using technology to enhance instruction. This candidate should be comfortable working in a student-centered learning system and with using standards to measure student progress.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must hold a Maine Department of Education Educational Specialist Certification with a 071 Endorsement and a CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) fingerprinting.
