The Executive Search Research Associate is responsible for the delivery of a robust, diverse, and
best-in-class pipeline of candidates (name generation) in support of the firm’s executive search
engagements and strategic business objectives. This role is part of the Recruiting Operations
function of the business and will report directly to the Senior Director, Research. It is a highly
valued and critical function that is integral to our core business.
By utilizing creative sourcing strategies (Boolean search/manual search techniques, social media,
internal and external networks, professional associations, etc.) you will capture the critical data
that is necessary for the execution of the firm’s retained search engagements. Working with the
Senior Director of Research you will collaborate to ensure the firm’s project deliverables are
being met and offer value-driven insights. Excellent project management skills will also be
critical for success.
The research team acts as a strategic advisor to the firm’s Partners and Consultants providing
market intelligence, snapshots of industry sectors, and competitive landscapes for use in business
development initiatives and pitches. Critical thinking, strong business acumen, ability to capture
and communicate concise relevant data, a sense of urgency, and a can-do attitude is necessary for
success in this area to win new business.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience in executive search or in-house Talent Acquisition ideally working on leadership roles.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements
- Experience or interest using market intelligence tools
- Attention to detail; being naturally curious about people and their skillsets/talent
- Strong business acumen with a thirst for business knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can pivot and course-correct as necessary
