Description:
The firm seeks a Research Analyst to join the global Research and Knowledge Management team, reporting to the Knowledge Manager. The Research Analyst is responsible for a broad range of research tasks, KPI tracking, business development IP and vendor management assistance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- End to end management of research requests from consulting staff including intake, output, and metrics measurement
- Train individuals and groups of consulting staff on types of content and resources available, analysis and assessment of data and information, and search techniques
- Partner with MC and enact processes enhancing Business Development resources
- Create and maintain internal firm intellectual property
- Collect, evaluate, index, publish and maintain information using knowledge management tools and resources
- Collaborate with members of the global Research and Knowledge Management team to promote department best practices among consulting staff
- Assist Knowledge Manager with vendor relationships, product pricing, demos, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field (Information Science, Library Science, Information Management)
- 3 or more years of experience in related function within a consulting or professional services firm
- Self-starting, flexible, comfortable working autonomously while appreciating collaboration
- Ability to manage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to interact with employees at all levels and all functions of the company
- Deep technology proficiency; electronic knowledge, repository management, Microsoft SharePoint
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and execution skills
- Fluency in English required and fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
