UMass Medical School is recruiting for the position of Associate Director of the newly awarded Network of the National Library of Medicine grant to serve Region 7 (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont). Under the general direction of the Library Director, the Associate Director serves as a key member of the Libraries Leadership Team and contributes to the overall strategic direction of the Library and Network of National Library of Medicine (NNLM) program. Negotiates, plans, implements, and executes the terms of the NNLM award with the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The Associate Director oversees all regional programs, monitors grant budgets, ensures compliance with grant obligations, communicates with network members and health care professionals, oversees committee appointments and the work of committees, and serves as the primary liaison to the National Library of Medicine for day to day operations of the NNLM program.
