Research & Instruction Librarian for Business and Social Science Research, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC
Posted April 8, 2021
Description:
The Z. Smith Reynolds Library seeks a creative, proactive, and collaborative library professional with the ability to provide innovative services as the Research & Instruction Librarian for Business and Social Science Research. The successful candidate will serve as one of two embedded subject liaisons in the School of Business providing instruction, research, and reference assistance to students and faculty in both undergraduate and graduate programs. They will also provide, in collaboration with our other subject liaisons, support across the social sciences and beyond for students and faculty doing quantitative research. As part of our robust instruction program, the librarian will both provide instruction for courses (traditional one-shot library instruction), and teach for-credit, subject-specific information literacy courses. We are looking to continue to build an organization with diverse experience, varying talents, and creative approaches to problem-solving. To that end, we strongly encourage those who are passionate about fostering diverse, inclusive, and equitable libraries to apply.
