Description:

The Board of Trustees of Ashburnham, MA’s Stevens Memorial Library seeks a visionary leader with strong strategic planning and financial management skills and a record of enhancing public library services.  The new director will be able to articulate, support and promote the Library’s mission and collaborate with the Trustees, staff, volunteers and the community it serves.

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA accredited program preferred; enrollment in an accredited MLS program considered; three (3) years professional experience in a library including at least one (1) year in a supervisory position; experience in a C/W MARS library preferred.

Compensation: Annual Salary:  $55,000 to $66,000 with benefits. Paid work Week 35 hours including 1 evening/week & 1 Saturday/month Starting vacation commensurate with experience.
