The School of Information at San José State University is recruiting for a Director. The successful applicant will be appointed at Professor rank. The School of Information delivers all degrees and certificates 100% online. It offers three master’s degrees: Library and Information Science (MLIS) [Accredited by the American Library Association], Archives and Records Administration (MARA), and an MS in Informatics; two certificate programs: Advanced Certificate in Digital Assets and Services, and Post Master’s Certificate in Library and Information Science; and one credential program: Teacher Librarian Credential program [Accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing]. The School educates more than 2000 online graduate students. Starting in Fall 2021 the School will offer an online BS in Information Science and Data Analytics.
