Lithgow Public Library, the public library for Maine’s capital city, is seeking a Teen Services Coordinator. The Teen Services Coordinator selects print and non-print materials for young adults; performs community outreach and works with community partners to produce quality programs for this age group; and staffs public service desks as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with one to three years’ of experience working with young adults or working in a library setting, a team-oriented approach, excellent communication and customer service skills, and experience and enthusiasm for working with a diverse public, especially people in the age group of 13-18.

A valid Maine Driver’s license is required. This is a regular part-time, non-exempt position with pro-rated sick leave, vacation and paid holidays. Pay scale is NU 13 $18.90 to $26.23 per hour, depending on the skills and background of the candidate.
