Love where you work! Join the dynamic and supportive staff of The Reading Public Library. We are now hiring a full time Public Services Division Head.  The incumbent is retiring after over twenty-five years of service.

Position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) including one evening and occasional Saturday rotation. Expected salary range is $72,490 – $76,927 and includes benefits and ample professional development opportunities.

This is a senior management position that is responsible for all aspects of library programs and services for the public. Primary duties include directing, supervising, and short/long term planning of programs and services for library users of all ages. The Public Services Division is comprised of the following teams: Children’s Services, Teen Services, Adult & Elder Services,  Research and Reader’s Services  The ideal candidate will be innovative, service-minded, collaborative, and energetic.
