As a Porting and Platform Integration Intern, you will work in studying, planning, improving and creating current tools and processes within the group. You will help with creating and manipulating data from our quality control processes. You will assess current tools written in Perl and will generate code in C++ to manipulate code coverage tool results. In addition you may be involved in some C code which is used to manipulate template instantiation in our code prior to building the code.
Your work will include, but will be not limited to porting and platform integration tools and QC tools. You will work individually on most of the projects, but will work with others in the group to make sure all questions or issues can be resolved.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science for the duration of the internship
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Knowledge of data base work and web based programming
- Possesses well-developed coding skills in one or two programming languages (C, C++, java/java script)
- Able to take direction and guidance from others in a positive manner
- Adopts and develops best practices and navigates around obstacles creatively
