IT Manager, Fast, Remote

Description and Responsibilities:

The Fast IT Manager position will help manage Fast’s internal corporate IT infrastructure, IT Support function and assist with ongoing corporate IT security and compliance activities.  The position is hands-on but broad reaching.

Role

  • Manage the Fast Business Application Inventory and own the administration of Fast Business Applications including core IT applications e.g. GSuite, Slack, Jira, Confluence among others
  • Manage the IT user access provisioning and termination process of Fast’s applications.
  • Responsible for IT asset management and provisioning of new hire equipment
  • Configure, deploy and maintain our internal corporate network and wifi infrastructure.
  • Provide end-user support, day to day troubleshooting, and develop the helpdesk function at Fast.
  • Author and implement IT-specific standard operating procedures and run books
  • Author and maintain end-user IT FAQs, training manuals, etc.
  • Manage IT vendors including contract negotiations and due diligence
  • Responsible for audio-visual set up in conference rooms and meeting areas
  • Responsible for maintaining and administering the internal phone system
  • Responsible for managing Corporate MDM and endpoint security including security hardening and enforcing of security policies
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to any Corporate IT related security and operational alerts
  • Keep all internal IT systems compliant to key security frameworks & certifications (e.g. PCI, SOC 1, SOC 2 etc)


Requirements:

  • 5+ years in an IT/Systems management role
  • Expertise with Mac OS X, Linux, and Microsoft Windows-Skilled communicator with a service-oriented attitude
  • 2+ years supporting IP based phone systems.
  • Experience with network administration (routers, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, wifi, etc.)
  • Experience with virtual machine technology such as VMware, VirtualBox, etc.
  • 2+ years working with IT compliance and policies & proceduresCertifications like MCSE, RHCE, CCNA are a plus
