The School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University in Australia is advertising a tenure-track position as Lecturer (similar to Assistant Professor in North America) or Senior Lecturer (similar to Assistant Professor in North America) in Information Studies.

 

Actively contributing to the delivery and development of a broad curriculum in the School of Information Studies, the successful candidate will also have an opportunity to develop and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic direction of the School. They would normally be required to work at the CSU campus at Wagga Wagga, although in some instances a flexible working arrangement, where the candidate is based off-campus in another location in Australia, maybe negotiable.

 

To be successful you will have: a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing; a record of research relevant to the discipline; demonstrated capacity to deliver high-quality student-centered learning and teaching; and sound knowledge and understanding of Information Studies with ability to teach and research in information organisation, archives and records management, or information and library services.
