Technical Project Manager, Kraft Analytics Group, Foxboro, MA

Summary

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for building out and overseeing processes to support the planning and execution of technology projects across KAGR clients and business lines. The Project Manager will play a critical role in organizing project resourcing needs, communicating the status of work streams, and ensuring the delivery of projects on time and within budget. In addition, this role will coordinate agile ceremonies (including sprint planning, daily scrum, and project retrospectives), design and implement project KPIs to measure success, and lead cross-department project communication.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Project management
    • Create project plans for client projects and maintain updates by gathering information from project team leaders
    • Communicate updates in timeline and budget to internal stakeholders on a regular basis
    • Present summarized view of technology project work streams to executive leadership on a recurring basis
    • Drive timeline and delivery across all client and internal technology projects
    • Ensure project risks are elevated and mitigated appropriately
    • Coordinate scheduling and participate in meetings across internal and client teams. Report on next steps and action items.
    • Coordinate and communicate resource allocation needs across projects
    • Lead through influence and consistent communication of team goals/KPIs to ensure on time delivery

  • Business operations
    • Define, build and scale project management function across the business
    • Manage KAGRs Agile/Scrum practices
    • Facilitate scrum ceremonies and prioritization with support from Client Leads and Product Owners
    • Create and maintain documentation on internal planning processes
    • Understand business needs, research, and make recommendations based on best practices to improve processes and on time delivery through improved development capabilities
    • Identify opportunities to reduce manual tasks and create operational efficiencies
    • Develop project success metrics and other KPIs to measure the organizations execution and delivery performance
    • Determine plan and resource need for automation of reporting

  • Client management
    • Maintain relationships with cross-department stakeholders, executive leadership, and client stakeholders (when appropriate)
    • Gather project requirements and needs, participate from ideation phase through implementation
    • Create project plan and status document templates to ensure a clear, effective communication path

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Project Management experience in a technology setting and a degree in Business or related field

  • Must have proven track record in technology delivery and understanding of the Agile methodology

  • PMP or CMP preferred

  • CSM, PSM, or CSP preferred

  • Skilled in Jira and Confluence

  • Experience interacting with management, presenting, and acting in a professional manner

  • Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Must be curious, resourceful, team-oriented, and coachable

Physical Demands

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment
