Strategy Consulting Intern, Kraft Analytics Group, Foxboro, MA

Summary

An intern within the Strategy & Consulting group of the Kraft Analytics Group (KAGR) will be a part of projects that deliver business-led, technology enabled solutions for sports teams, leagues, and industry partners on a range of issues from market sizing to customer segmentation to media strategy and everything in-between. The Strategy and Consulting Intern will be a naturally curious problem solver who is comfortable with critical thinking in ambiguous situations in the business of sports and entertainment. The position will allow for development of a cross-functional expertise in strategy, data manipulation, and analytics. The intern will have the opportunity for hands on experience in a client-facing role focused on formulating actionable recommendations to drive business decisions. The right candidate will be motivated to learn, contribute to the team and organization, and grow along with the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing diverse client data from a range of sources (quantitative and qualitative) to distill relevant findings into actionable strategic insights

  • Communicating findings in client deliverables in a clear and consumable manner

  • Supporting overall project management, including project logistics (scheduling and follow-up)

  • Collaborate with team members to come up with creative solutions to client challenges

  • Assist with preparation of presentations including client deliverables and internal documentation

  • Additional projects and assignments based on business need and skillset of the candidate

Skills and Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, or related quantitative field preferred

  • In your junior year of an undergraduate degree; expected graduation date of December 2020 or May 2021

  • Experience with full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth

  • Ability to work within a diverse team and meet various deadlines

  • Demonstrated outstanding academic performance

  • Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities (bonus if related to sports/entertainment)

  • Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm, natural curiosity and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
