Part-Time Reference Librarian, Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Monroe, CT

The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Monroe, is seeking a Part-Time Reference Librarian for an average of 11 hours per week to join our innovative team.  We are looking for you if you are an enthusiastic and creative self-starter; motivated to learn how to use and assist patrons with our new makerspace and assist patrons with equipment; and also, just as happy providing regular reference help and readers’ advisory. 

 

The ideal candidate must be comfortable with social media, able to help maintain the library’s web page, and willing to perform other related duties.  Weekdays and some Saturdays are required. Strong customer service orientation and MLS required. MLS candidates nearing graduation will be considered.
