The Town of Weare seeks to fill the vacancy left by our library director.  He was highly esteemed in the community, exceptionally creative and unbelievably hard-working.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Library Science from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of progressively responsible library administrative experience.   It is a full-time, exempt, position. Full time is 38 hours per week as scheduled and includes regular evening meetings and occasional weekend hours. Dependent upon level of experience and qualifications, the library current salary is up to $52,000 as well as a town benefits package.
