Reporting to the University Librarian, the Head of Libraries’ Engagement coordinates the development of library engagement and communication strategies designed to inform, engage, and build relationships with campus stakeholders and community partners.
- Promotes resources, services, and programs to create awareness, engagement with the Libraries and librarians, and integration of the Libraries into the University’s priorities (e.g., teaching and learning, research, community engagement).
- Collaborates with personnel, campus partners, and community members to develop, deliver, integrate and assess impact of Libraries messages and brand.
- Represents the Libraries at campus, community, and professional programs and events.
- Oversees the Libraries’ social media presence and serves as its media relations contact.
- Serves as the liaison to the University Strategic Communications department, Office of Community Engagement, and other related university units providing community engagement services and resources.
- The Head of Libraries’ Engagement supervises the full-time Communications Coordinator and a part-time assistant, and serves on the Management Team, the primary decision-making body of the Libraries.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Minimum $60,000, commensurate with education and experience. Excellent benefits package.
