We are about a year into our ambitious strategic plan, and look forward to continuing work in these areas. You may have also read about Lancaster, or the College’s national work on a talent strategy – some great stuff is happening here!
We will review applications as they arrive, and begin talking with candidates as soon as possible.
The Research & Visual Arts Librarian (RVAL) will assist with growing campus interests in the visual arts and digital scholarship efforts, liaise with the Art & Art History, Classics or other humanities departments, and lead on the shaping of the College Library’s existing and new visual collections.
The RVAL will also help to organize our outreach and marketing program, sustain our growing instructional efforts, and work collaboratively across the College on collection development and liaison activities including research services, library instruction, and student-initiated research appointments.
