The UNH Library seeks a creative and highly motivated Web Designer with the skills required to design, develop and maintain clean, consistent, responsive, intuitive and easy to use websites that support the UNH Library’s academic mission. A member of the Knowledge Creation and Emerging Technologies division reporting to the Library Information Technology Librarian, the ideal candidate has proven design skills and the ability to work across a broad range of content management and web technologies including Drupal, CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
The Web Designer will support the Library’s current Drupal website (http://www.library.unh.edu) and work with faculty librarians and staff to create web-based applications, graphics and creative content to showcase the future of digital discovery and learning. This position will also develop and implement web marketing strategies through various digital channels including Drupal custom themes and modules, mobile and other interactive and online mediums, other social media and web banners. The Web Designer possesses the graphic design skills needed to ensure that all web initiatives adhere to University design standards and are current with new and emerging technologies.
