Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial and record keeping systems accounting and financial controls for The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association consistent with the General Accepted Accounting Practices and the particular needs of the organization and for ensuring back office operations run smoothly and efficiently, making the best use of technology and standard business practices. Accomplishes tasks independently and through subordinate staff.
Preparation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable position. Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) Understanding of state and federal accounting regulations Solid knowledge and experience of QuickBooks Enterprise and the ability and willingness to learn TAM Point of Sales System Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook Experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of a budget Please contact Melissa Reynolds, Human Resource Manager at [email protected] or 978-744-0991 ext. 111.
