A qualified candidate will need to have the following skills:
- Strong computer programming skills (Python, Ruby, Javascript)
- An understanding of how to code to integrate existing data into platforms such as google maps
- An understanding of how to code to update visuals in real time and to archive data
- An understanding of data visualization
- A history of quality follow-through and delivery
- An ability to problem solve and think outside of the traditional box
- A passion for community based research
- A qualified candidate would preferably be one who has (or is working on) a degree in computer science or a closely related field.
