The New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians Planning Committee is offering four Fellow Scholarships for students with an interest in science or engineering librarianship to attend the 2016 New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.The scholarship will cover full registration (including food and lodging), and is intended for someone interested in working with a mentor to learn about science librarianship. Please note that the scholarship covers the registration (includes food and lodging) only; travel and other expenses will be borne by the Fellow. Your application should include a current resume, a letter of intent, and a letter of recommendation from one of your library school instructors. Send these by April 29 to Naka Ishii at [email protected]. Notification of scholarship awards will be made by May 13, 2016. Each Fellow will meet (either virtually or in person) with a mentor before, during and after the Science Boot Camp. S/He will submit a work reflecting on the experience in a blog post posted to the e-Science Community Blog by July 1, 2016.
